No brainer - shooter
The game is no brainer, and it sets a simple tasks before you. Kill X enemies before they kill you. Health of the monkey can be monitored in the lower left corner and it is represented with a green strip. The longer the strip the longer the life of the pilot.
24 missions
The game is organized in 24 missions and a surprisingly good thing is that each mission has a separate task. First is to kill a certain number of enemies, second requires to endure 60 seconds under heavy fire etc... Little pests come from all directions and follow you around. On higher levels they are more difficult to kill because they are smaller and more durable. That is why in some situations the rule - if you can't defeat them, you try to run - is absolutely justified. Behind destroyed enemies remain power chips, you can, but don't have to collect them, it's optional. At least until the 3-rd level, when you need to collect 50 of these thingies in 60 seconds. One of the things I haven't noticed at first is automatic shooting. You don't have to keep clicking the left mouse button to keep shooting. The monkey will shoot anyway and this is quite handy because it leaves you with more time to tend to other things - collecting tokens and avoiding hordes of enemies.
Controls
Controls are made in standard shooting games style and there are no surprises there. You move using WASD keys, aim with muse and shoot with left mouse click. At any given moment you can decide to leave your seat and pause the game by pressing the spacebar, which seems like a nice option. It is also important to say that each level starts in pause mode and to start the action you need to press the spacebar.
Music
Mute button in lower right corner works impeccably and pressing it brings absolute silence. This is very useful if we take into an account a very irritating background music theme. But, on the other hand, the game seems rather empty without all those sound effects and that takes a lot away from the experience. That is why the independent tuning for music and sound effects are there. In just a couple of clicks you can perfectly adjust all sounds according to your needs.
