How to play

Monkey In Trouble 2 is a kind of pac-man game crossed with Donkey Kong. There are 4 platforms in the scene and there is fruit hanging on all of them: grapes, bananas, cherries, apples... When a small monkey (controlled by you and arrow keys) passes by a fruit, it falls one level lower. When all fruit gets to the bottom of the screen, the level is done. The only real threat is a huge gorilla which is nervously walking around. If you come across the gorilla, there are two options, try to run or throw a banana using space bar. If gorilla gets you, you lose a life (you have 3 at the beginning). Have I mentioned that banana ammo is limited? Once you press space, bananas start flying one after another and your stack is getting empty fast. You have only 10 bananas in the stack so be careful. Banana range is also limited. A hit shall incapacitate the gorilla for only a second or two, which is enough for you to reach a safe distance. While the gorilla is sleeping you can literally pass in front of him and nothing will happen to you.

From the third level, the number of gorillas is rising and game becomes more and more difficult because you need to keep track of 2 or 3 gorillas at the same time.

Graphics

Graphics are simple and average for this type of games. The only bad thing are monkey controls, because sometimes there are glitches in the controls. For example, while the monkey is going down the ladder it freezes. At that moment the shooting doesn't work either and if gorilla is somewhere near, it can be dangerous. Everything else is more or less correctly made.
