Snow Drift - Yeti Sliding Penguins

You play as a little Yeti person, and the game takes place somewhere really cold and snowy. That means that your main enemies are penguins and other arctic creatures. This platformer game is very simple but very fun at the same time. It is made in low resolution so it looks old and retro. The music is also made in the same manner which gives it a feel like you have traveled somewhere in past just to come across this fun and vibrant game to keep you occupied for a while.

The controls are also simple. 'WASD' keys are used to navigate, move in all directions, but also arrow keys can be used if you find those more comfortable. The space bar can be also used to jump. So you get to pick and choose from all these to give yourself the most comfortable feel while playing. You have three lives so pay attention, there isn't much wiggle room.

A few things to remember before you start. When you press the down arrow key or 'S' key you get to slide across the screen. However, Yeti can slide only on the ice, not on snow, so keep that in mind. Also, slide to knock down those pesky penguins and other enemies who come your way or are trying to stop you on your journey across this beautiful frozen landscape. Level one is all filled with additional instructions you can read as you go, let's call it a training level. However, there are additional explanations in the next levels every time come across a new obstacle or enemy.

There are many levels for you to play but if you find any of them especially difficult or challenging you can use the walkthrough and help yourself get through the tough ones. In time you'll learn where are the wholes and where you can fall through because it is not all too obvious at the very beginning. And if you find the music, not to your satisfaction or even if you find the special effect annoying or something, you can easily turn both off by clicking on the icons in the upper right corner of your screen.
